To be fair, She did promise to be back, and she did leave for good reasons. She finally got her tooth fixed, and without paying a million bucks for it! She also went job hunting (sort of) and looked for a humble abode for all of us.
Meanwhile...as she was getting all cozied up with her family (which I really am happy about) I was being kept awake all week by my lovely little Ella who completely forgot how to sleep while Jenni was away. I am amazed at how little sleep I can actually live on.
She did learn some new exciting things this week though. She is very good at signing milk, but she gets very excited and it also becomes the sign for dog, hi, and food. She also knows food, but that one can sometimes turn into blow kiss, or she will randomly make indian noises. As soon as she sees Gideon she'll get very excited and say dog! and then do the milk sign (she really does know that it means milk, but her nerves get the better of her!) She also knows how to say Ella, Papa (grampa), pup, banana, two, yes, no, bath, bubble, up, and meow (my personal favorite).
She can point to your nose, chin, lip, and ears.
My dad picked up Jen from the train station while my mom, Ella, and myself went to the Outback for my parent's anniversary dinner. When they finally got to the restaurant (it seemed to take hours!) Ella just stared at Jen for the longest time, and I was so nervous she had forgotten her, but she started giving Jen a little smile, and it got bigger and bigger until her whole face was just a huge smile. It was way too cute. Jen totally made Ella's night, and vice versa, and she is already sleeping better tonight then she has all week (so far anyway)
