I forgot to mention, the ending night to the zoo day didn't go so well. As we were leaving the "kid zone" after Ella had fun walking around, and pulling on hay, it donned on me... Ella is allergic to wheat and hay looks an awful lot like wheat.. which means.. she might have been playing in and surrounded by not good stuff. I told nikki about the hay and wheat/ grain thoughts, and we both looked at each other like.. oh crap! I mean, I can't believe we didn't even think about it, if she is allergic to barley, whey, wheat, corn and rice.. she would definitely be to hay, but she was having so much fun.
So, we were all nervous on our way home and I kept checking her to see if she has any hives. She started to get a few on her arms, but I was more nervous about her feet because she had been wearing sandals. After a few minutes her feet started to get little red spots, that looked like pin pricks. About half way home they started to get a little swollen with hives, so we were going to stop at a store to see if we could find something that helped, but she fell asleep so we went straight home instead. It didn't get any worse then the hives and a little swelling, which am very thankful for, and after getting home it started to go away shortly after.
Since then, we have been busy planning her birthday party and getting the last minute details sorted out.. We are very excited and think it is going to be so fun :).
