Still sick

Three minutes after I posted the last post we heard her wake up. I went to get her and was confused., the corner of the blanket was semi-wet. I decided to turn on the light, even if it woke her up to see what was going on. She had gotten sick in her sleep :(.

I picked her up and she leaned her face against me, I got slimed but I don't care. I cleaned her up and changed her jammies, Nikki changed the sheets, then we went to the front room.

She kept getting sick.. not an hour apart like the previous night but 10-15 minutes apart. We called E.R. to see what to do and they said to give her pedialite but not bring her in.

The next day she was still soo sick so we took her to urgent care. She seemed too dehydrated to us because she didn't have any wet diapers yet so figured it was time. The doctor was super nice but said there was nothing he could do and to keep giving her pedialite. We explained the situation of her hating all of the pedialites we had tried, but he said to "keep trying all of the flavors because she had to like one."

She was sick for a few days after, off and on. She developed the rest of her tummy problems her last day but that finally stopped too.

Glad to say she is all well now. I was so thankful to see tears when she cried.

Ella is also an active smiling crawler now! She did the snake crawl for a few weeks, then would try to crawl but fall on her face after the first attempt.

She is now an official crawler. I think she has ocd with some things though, because if she is crawling, no matter what is in her way or how much it is NOT in her way, she will crawl over to it and throw it, then keep going to the next, in a zig zag pattern until her whole pathway is free and clear lol

Projectile-ness!!!

Weird title you may think? Even weirder story!!!

Yesterday started off like any other normal day. She woke up normal, happy Ella, we had play time then she had her morning nap. When she woke up it was breakfast time. She wasn't interested in food at all. I forgot to mention, Ella has learned the no head shake. No clue how or where this came from, seeing as how we have never said no or shook our heads.. So.. All breakfast was a lot of head shakes. A little later I was in the kitchen and heard Nikki say Jen! Help! I said what? She said come here! I came around the corner to see Ella looking back at me. I was thinking, what the heck is this??? As my mind came to grips with what was going on she got sick again. I was like ooooh nooo. So I picked her up so Nikki could get up and changed but as I was walking with her to her room she got sick all over me, then the floor. Now.. I have never had someone get sick on me, but I guess it was the day for it. I got her changed and everything but she was just lathargic. She wasn't moving or making noises, just wanted to be cuddled so Nikki and her had an hour long bath which seemed to help. She played some and we thought it was a one time thing.

After her bath she took a long nap. When she woke up she was playing a little bit but still wasn't acting her normal self and still didn't want anything to do with any food. We kept trying to give her pedialite but because she has never had juice or sugar and hates water she was not a fan of it. She just cuddled a lot and finally drank about two ounces of the pedialite. About ten minute after drinking the pedialite she got sick again and her face was so sad :(. This is when we started getting worried because each episode wasn't one time of getting sick.. it was 4-5 times and it was projectile. I have never seen anyone get sick like that, especially someone so little.

Ella cuddled and played a little with her Grandma and Grandpa and seemed ready for bed. Nikki rocked with her and thought she was out so went to put her to bed and that's when she woke up and that's when Ella decided to give the grand finale. It went on the floor, on the chair and on Nicole. Off Ella and Nicole went for there 5th change of the day.

Ella felt a lot better after and played quietly for a while. She was in a very good mood, smiling and "talking". She slept till 9 am. She woke up and played a bit but was still a little funny so went back for a nap till 1 pm. She looked to be her old self just a little quieter and cuddlier after her naps. She had a little dinner and took it well. She also had a good bath that I think helped out. She was her happy Ella in the bath and after.

She went to sleep amazingly good tonight, proud of her. She went through a heck of a day but is a trooper.

Finally, after 9 months, we have a blog!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Will be uploading things trying to start from the beginning, while posting the here and now. It will be a bit scattered but hopefully figured out shortly :)
